Geoff MaherDark Moll welcomed Geoff as their latest member at the beginning of 2007, playing tenor banjo, bouzouki and fiddle. Geoff started playing Irish music three years ago, and has already won the Midwest region fleadh banjo competition (2006) and mandolin competition (2005). Prior to taking up Irish music, Geoff played piano (though claims no memory of this), and drums. |

Geoff also plays with the bands Geoff and Alex, The Sidewalk Spitters (in which he plays drums), The Egbert Connection, and on occasion Silver Arm. Geoff teaches banjo and mandolin at The Riley School of Irish Music, and in his spare time is a sophomore at Loveland High School. |
